What is Twinery?

Twinery (twinery.org) is a reading resource in Storytelling. Twine is a free, open-source tool for telling interactive, nonlinear stories that publishes directly to HTML and requires no coding (with optional variables, conditional logic and CSS/JavaScript). Created and led by Chris Klimas; latest version 2.12.0 (April 2026).
